In yet another attempt to force ourselves to keep our players up to date about the latest development updates and news I am adding this category to the blog.  I hope to be able to keep this updated as frequently as possible as we make updates, changes or fixes to game.

It’s been a slow month as far as development as we have been putting the majority of our time into improving the new design for new users.

We are currently working on adding pop-up messages to help guide new players through the game.  These should help improve the increase player retention.

Our list of priorities includes the following:

• Add pop-up tooltips for several items when you hover your cursor over them
• Start sending out email updates to get players coming back
• Add a “task” or “achievement” bar to home page
• Improve referral system and widget.  Add ranking to widget and link to top referrals page
• Increase referral link/page visibility and incentives / add Facebook and social media   Add widget to default page
• Add email confirmation on signup so we have valid email addresses
• Add a password reminder option on the login box
• Add user account homepage
• Add player face images for players and coaches
• Add the ability for players to customize their live play calling menu

It’s looking to be a slow progress but this could mean big things for the future of Pigskin Empire.
